What to do with old poppies?

CONTRIBUTION IN ORIGINAL LANGUAGE

What can you do with your poppies since the day of commemoration is over?

The good news is: poppy seeds are recyclable. You can recycle your poppy seeds in any Sainsbury's supermarket for two weeks after the armistice.

The Royal British Region says that all parts of their poppies can be recycled. "We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our poppies and are working to remove all single-use plastics in the future."

For the future, you might also consider buying enamel poppy needles that can be worn instead of paper poppy seeds. You can then choose to make a donation to the call each year.
