1) Cheaper
2) Environmentally friendly- leads to savings in packaging- Reusable systems become cheaper- Recycling becomes easier - less energy - climate-friendly
3) Illegal disposal has no financial advantages
4) socially just - more packaging - higher costs
5) Recycling creates new jobs
