Did you know that? Every day private households in Austria use an average of 130 liters of drinking water per person.
The consumption is divided as follows:
- Around 22% is used for showering and bathing,
- for flushing the toilet 25%,
- for washing clothes 10%
- and 2% for dishwashing.
- In the outdoor area (pool, plants, etc.) 14% is consumed - (even though the garden stands still in winter)
- 27% flows through the taps in the bathroom, toilet and kitchen.
