(Washington, DC, September 7, 2021) - The United States Congress should support programs that ensure everyone in the United States has access to safe and affordable water. To achieve this vital goal, the US government should recognize that access to clean water is a fundamental human right.
Caucus for Water Justice and Climate Resilience Susana De Anda from Community Water Center, Monica Lewis-Patrick from We the People Detroit and Janene Yazzie from Sixth World Solutions say Congress should take steps to ensure universal access to safe drinking water and hygiene.
