Vote in america

CONTRIBUTION IN ORIGINAL LANGUAGE

Since I'm 16, I can vote in the next elections. I'm very interested in politics, but I don't know which party I will vote for. However, it is crucial that young people find out about their right to vote beforehand. You should also be aware of the various parties and the current political situation in your home country. Here is my guide to help you vote in the presidential election on November 3rd of this year (I hope you don't mind if I go to one side more.

The first thing you have to say is that Trump really messed up his nonsensical corona strategy. Actually, he didn't have a real strategy at first because he didn't believe in Corona. While some other hardworking politicians implemented corona sanctions or even a nationwide lockdown, Trump proclaimed that there was no virus at all. After testing positive for the virus, he had to start believing in it. He should have acted much sooner and the number of cases in the US wouldn't be that high.

You may have noticed that one of the Supreme Court judges, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, a highly respected woman, passed away in September. Ginsburg, also known as a tireless and determined advocate of justice, had cancer and died at the age of 87. She was a long-term judiciary and the second woman in Supreme Court history. Although Ginsburg said before her death that no one should replace her until the presidential election is over, Trump nominated Amy Coney Barret as the new judiciary to the Supreme Court. For me as a guide, Trump's nomination was good in his view, but the nomination of a senior judge should normally come after an election is over.

Democrats and Republicans are "the" two parties in America and it is necessary to know what they stand for. The Democrats are more liberal and obviously use their compassion for care and equality for all people. Trump is your typical Republican and they are, on the other hand, more conservative and they focus on patriotism, purity and loyalty. If I were an adult living in America I would probably vote for Liberals because we should start thinking of one big union in at least one country. I would never vote for Trump. I am unable to retrace his beliefs.

It's very important to choose, but it doesn't matter which party you vote for. Realize your privilege and recognize your responsibility as a voter.
