17 museums x 17 SDGs: the decision is made

For the project “17 museums x 17 SDGs - goals for sustainable development” 17 museums in Austria will develop a total of 17 projects over the next few months. These projects deal with the content and strategy of the 17 sustainability goals (Sustainable Development Goals / SDGs) the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”.

The respective sustainability goals to be taken up in the project were awarded to the museums by lot. There are small and large exhibitors from all federal states, e.g. the Ars Electronica Center in Graz, the vorarlberg museum and the Belvedere in Vienna. By the end of the year, the projects will be worked out and “accompanied by communication measures”, they say.

The SDGs deal with topics ranging from the use of water and the reduction of inequalities to life in the countryside and good health care, climate protection and much more.
