Daniel Günther (CDU) is Prime Minister in Schleswig-Holstein. When the CDU was about who should be candidate for chancellor, he made a strong case for Armin Laschet. Over the election campaign, the approval of his candidate fell significantly. It has become questionable whether the next chancellor will come from the ranks of the CDU. Daniel Günther is now standing in for Armin Laschet in the #WWFThink election special.
It's about renewable energies, the huge challenges of species extinction and the climate crisis, the way to a sustainable Germany and the question of whether Armin Laschet is actually still the right candidate for him.
