For the “Energy Trend Monitor 2021” of a building technology manufacturer, 1.000 Austrians were interviewed on the subject of the energy transition in a representative manner.
The results:
- 60 percent of Austrians would rather ask those who cause climate-damaging CO2 emissions to pay for it sooner rather than later.
- The majority are concerned that in the face of climate change, greenhouse gas emissions will not become chargeable quickly enough.
- 82 percent are concerned that environmental damage will be averted too late for future generations.
