A pop star's “green” world tour

Billie Eilish, the seventeen-year-old singer has become a symbol of today's youth. Her music is on 24 charts and some of her songs are listened to almost a billion times. It's not just your neon green-colored hair or your creepy music videos that draw attention, but also the themes she picks up through her music and interviews. She talks about depression, the LGBTQ community and even the environment - these are all current issues that occupy a large part of youth.

The young pop star starts a World Tour in the year 2020 and appears in many different countries even several times. In an interview with Jimmy Fallon she tells us that she wants to keep her tour as green as possible. She is a partner in the "Reverb" Campaign, which works to stop plastic straws from being allowed at the concert, to allow fans to bring their own water bottles to refill, and to recycle rubbish bins everywhere.

This makes Billie Eilish a great role model for your millions of fans and is an important signal for other stars who may feel inspired by this action and want to contribute to environmental protection in the entertainment world in the future.
