To celebrate Latinx Heritage Month, #PlanetaG harnesses the power of our community: We talk about voting.
Latinxs are key to this choice of a lifetime. There are 32 million voters for Latinx and 70% of Latinx see climate change as a high priority. We have the key to changing our future. The 2020 elections are crucial to create the conditions for the right to a healthy environment and democracy and a just, green and peaceful future.
To start with, we have the wonderful Carolina Guerra, a Colombian actress and activist. You've seen her in TNT's Animal Kingdom, Da Vinci's Demons, and the Dominican historical drama Rubirosa. Carolina uses her platform to speak on topics she is passionate about, such as climate change, protecting and preserving the environment, and gender-based violence and social injustice
