❗ The FAIRTRADE Banana Challenge starts on October 5th! ❗
🍌 Together we are building a virtual bridge made of bananas from Austria to Latin America and show solidarity with the farming families and workers living there.
🌍 The main growing areas of bananas are more than 10 million meters away in Ecuador, Peru or the Dominican Republic. Every consumed FAIRTRADE banana brings us one meter closer to the goal of more fairness. That means we need at least 10 million bananas consumed in a month across Austria to complete our bridge.
🎯 How it works: If you buy a FAIRTRADE banana between October 5th and November 5th, it will be automatically registered and the bridge will grow thanks to your purchase. You can always follow the progress of our bridge construction on our map.
📣 So then: Challenge accepted - because every FAIRTRADE banana counts! The bridge is growing from October 5th! And you can win great prizes too – more on that in the next few days!
