To the movie:
Ricky lives in Newcastle with his family. He and his wife Abby have been struggling with debt since the 2008 financial crisis. They hardly get the family through with their odd jobs as craftsmen and their work as geriatric nurses. Nevertheless, the two dream of a little independence and their own home. All the more Ricky lures the chance for a better future. He becomes a freelance courier for a parcel service provider: Parcels Delivered Fast. The name stands for a promise and so Ricky gets increasingly in the maelstrom of time pressure, revision and even more financial deficits. The family clashes do not fail to materialize - and yet family cohesion is the only thing that still counts.
