In 2019 Sigrid Horn won the protest song contest with “baun”. Today she is bringing out a new version of the winning song together with the WWF. The occasion: Austria is concreted over - every day 11,5 hectares of soil are lost forever.
Conservation is very important to the musician, with this motivation the protest song was created. When the WWF started its “Nature instead of concrete” campaign in autumn 2020 about the increasing amount of land being consumed in Austria, the ground was prepared for a joint release. “Stop the construction of Austria” - so the demand of the WWF - is the clear common claim of Sigrid Horn and the environmental protection organization.
