Effective microorganisms - also called EM - are a special blend of microorganisms that support regenerative processes and suppress rot processes. This blend was developed about 30 years ago on Okinawa (Japan).
Thus, EM is not a fertilizer but an adjuvant which, when used over the long term, restores the natural cycle in the soil. EM promotes germination, rooting, flowering, fruit set and the maturation of plants. In addition, EM-Active (EMa) improves soil physical, chemical and biological status and accelerates composting.
EM represents a system with different components for which there are also additives for crop protection, resistance or growth.
