Introducing Talua, a youth activist leader from Tuvalu! Hailing from one of the smallest countries in the world, Talua is made up of nine stunning coral atoll islands with a population of around 11.000 people.

Sitting just 2 meters above sea level, Tuvalu is facing some of the most severe impacts of the climate crisis in the world. These hardships result in the loss of valuable cultural heritage - and pose an immediate threat to Tuvalu's existence 💔

But even in the face of adversity, the spirit and determination of the Tuvaluan people to preserve their land, vibrant culture, language and identity remains strong. Their powerful stories are reaching far beyond the islands as they bring this fight for #climatejustice to the world's highest court in a historic Pacific-led campaign.⁣
