The upcycling trend is towards beauty care: Instead of disposing of food waste, the beauty industry is becoming more and more creative and uses it for its products. Here are two examples of innovative brands and products:
Used coffee grounds and brewed chai tea spices often end up in the landfill. UpCircle used for products like coffee peels or chai soap bars. A new product is a cleansing facial balm, which is made from the fine powder of discarded apricot stones.
Vegan friendly Fruits .. uses fruit ingredients for her beauty products like lip balm. Most of the ingredients are a by-product of processed fruit waste.
