CONTRIBUTION IN ORIGINAL LANGUAGE
In September 2019, Colgate and its recycling partner TerraCycle launched the first playground in the UK made from recycled oral care products such as toothbrushes and tubes, caps, electric toothbrush heads, and packaging for toothbrushes and toothpaste.
It consists of two slides, a bridge and a tunnel and was awarded to Cranford Park after a national competition in collaboration with ASDA. "Not only does this mean the kids now have an exciting new play area, but it is an important reminder of how we can protect the environment," said Rebecca Portch, teacher at Cranford Park Primary School.
