Today's Fireside Fire Drill with Jane Fonda shows Judith Browne Dianis, civil rights lawyer and executive director of the National Office of the Advancement Project. Attend a conversation about the alternation between protest and power, securing victories for racial justice, and protecting voting rights for a just democracy.

Judith Browne Dianis was a lawyer, professor and civil rights activist in the Racial Justice Movement. Dianis is hailed as a voting rights expert and pioneer in the school-prison pipeline dismantling movement and leads the work of the National Bureau of the Progress Project to Combat Structural Racism in the areas of education, voting, policing, criminal justice and immigration. She was awarded the Prime Movers Fellowship for pioneering leaders in the social movement and was named one of the “Thirty Women to Watch” by Essence Magazine. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Friends of the Earth and the Skadden Fellowship Foundation.
