Pesticides: They're in the water and in the food, but are they in the air too?
In a Greenpeace study, passive collectors were set up on four different organic farms at different locations in Switzerland in order to measure the pesticides in the air.

The results are appalling: massive pesticide contamination was found at all locations. A total of 25 substances were found, some of which are very toxic to humans and the environment. Including pesticides that have long been banned!
Organic farming is endangered by airborne pesticides: This is bad news, both for producers and consumers.
That is why we are calling for a package of measures to protect organic farming, the environment and the population. Together we can end the pesticide era!
