Greenpeace Germany turns 40! If you want to know how a small citizens' initiative turned into a large environmental movement, then listen to our podcast series “Now even more”.
Unlimited growth on a limited planet? It is obvious that this cannot work. In order to guarantee a good life for all future generations and also for us today, we humans have to live within the limits of the resources of our planet. At the moment, however, the reality is different. As long as it is cheaper for companies to destroy virgin material than to recycle it, there will be no justice. We must finally pay a realistic price for our food, clothing, communications, etc. These are currently paid by others, for example people in the global south.
In this episode, Christiane Huxdorff and Viola Wohlgemuth also talk about a sustainable way out of mass production and poisoning by pesticides in agriculture. It becomes clear: we have to change our consumer behavior, because less is more!
