What is the future you want to see?
As the Covid 19 pandemic develops, it's confusing to see how the world changes so quickly. The crisis has exposed inherent weaknesses in national and global systems, all of which have been more exposed to disease, economic hardship and abuse. We all understood that we are only as safe as our most vulnerable neighbor.
What world will we find if we prepare to leave home and take off our masks? History teaches us that things do not return to normal after global upheavals. Powerful forces use the uncertainty to reshape the social pact and create a new normal. With more equality or less; with more violence or less; with more justice or less.
None of these results are inevitable.
It is time for us to stand together and shape the future we want to see.
