Just over 50% of the Swiss population voted in favor of a supply chain law in the current referendum. It demands that all corporations based in Switzerland legally to international
Human rights and environmental standards are also bound outside of Switzerland.
However, due to the lack of a majority in the cantons, the legislative initiative was rejected anyway. Even if the vote failed, the result sends a clear signal to political decision-makers.
