A little bit of distraction! Did you know that Ireland is only 11% forested? So just as sparse as Ethiopia? Ireland's deforestation was only put in place at the beginning of the 20th century. By then, the forest area on the green island had decreased to just 1,5%. Since then there have been numerous efforts to slowly but surely bring the forests back.
