4 continents, 13 countries, 22 indigenous communities: Greenpeace photographer Markus Mauthe was visiting the Mundari in South Sudan. As nomads, they follow the water with their big-horned, white cattle. The cattle herds are not only the pride of the Mundari, but also the guarantors of their economic independence. In the barren landscape of their habitats there is little more than the grass for their herds. Because the country does not make wealthy, the state has little interest in the habitat of the Mundari. Markus Mauthe succeed in the cattle camp unique pictures that tell of the deep, magical connection between Mundari and their cattle.

"On the edges of the horizon", the new live report by exceptional photographer Markus Mauthe about indigenous societies on the edges of the globalized world. From January on again on tour in Germany.
