Whitepaper for legally compliant use of image material

Media work has never been easier for organizations and (small) companies thanks to the Internet and social media. However, there are many legal stumbling blocks when it comes to using images to raise public awareness. The Austrian picture agency APA-PictureDesk has now comprehensively recorded the legal framework for the use of picture material in the whitepaper “Picture rights in practice”.

In the whitepaper, APA experts answer all relevant questions about image rights, such as: Which images may be published in which context on which channels? Which data protection aspects have to be considered when using photos of people? Which different license models are there and what is the difference between editorial and commercial use of an image?

The whitepaper can be downloaded free of charge by providing an email address downloaded here .
