A law is being discussed at EU level to ban products from forest destruction on the EU market. This is a great opportunity!

Forests are being destroyed and species are dying all over the world. The climate suffers as a result and we are all affected. Through our consumption, we in Germany are also involved in the destruction of forests around the world - whether we like it or not.

But we can change that now: an EU law for worldwide forest protection should ensure that no products from forest destruction end up in the EU. This is an important lever to protect forests. 🌳🌴🌲

There are still some sticking points in the current draft law, which is why we have to vote for a strong EU law without loopholes.
