Again and again the heart is broken for meat at Edeka mother sows. They spend weeks of pregnancy and breastfeeding in tight crates where they can barely stretch out. Then they are separated from their piglets ...
Challenge Edeka with us, no longer to let mother sows suffer like that! Edeka should show with a postage mark on all meat products under which conditions the animals lived!
Our demands on Edeka:
- Mark animal husbandry and origin on all meat products.
- Commit yourself to sell in the future only meat from animal friendly and environmentally friendly production.
- Develop an action plan for better production of all of our own fresh meat range - starting with pork.
