Would you dare We explored the ocean floor in a small submarine in one of the coldest regions on earth. Come to Antarctica.
The Arctic Sunrise is underway in Antarctica to document the biodiversity of this region. With the help of underwater images, the scientists on board can prove that the Antarctic seabed is a treasure trove of life! This biodiversity must be protected. Our goal: The largest marine protected area in the world in the Antarctic Weddell Sea!

Greenpeace is an international environmental organization that works with non-violent actions to protect livelihoods. Our goal is to prevent environmental degradation, change behaviors, and implement solutions. Greenpeace is non-partisan and completely independent of politics, parties and industry. More than half a million people in Germany donate to Greenpeace, thereby ensuring our daily work to protect the environment.
