Shortly before the Caucus in Nevada, Amnesty International USA (AIUSA) and co-sponsoring organizations hold a presidential forum that deals in depth with one of the most important issues of the election: immigration. As a state with a lively immigrant population, Nevada is an ideal place to talk about how its voters, residents and the country will be affected by immigration policy in a new term as President. Amnesty International USA has invited all Republican and Democratic candidates. The forum offers candidates and voters, including AIUSA members, the opportunity to address the many complex facets of immigration policy and to give candidates the opportunity to publicly adopt a humane approach to immigration that respects human rights.
