More protection for European primeval forests! The EU is currently developing the new forest strategy for the next 10 years. The Naturschutzbund Deutschland is calling for an end to the overexploitation of Europe's last primeval forests. In Romania, Bulgaria and Ukraine, ancient forests are being cut down, although some of them are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
NABU: Europe needs more wild forests
