Almost half of all adult Austrians are annoyed by the waste separation, a representative study by immowelt.at shows.
The negative list of the least popular wastes:
- Problem substances (batteries, colors, etc.): 12 percent
- Bulky waste: 10 percent
- Biowaste: 9 percent
- Light fraction and plastics: 4 percent
- residual waste: 3 percent
- waste glass (white / colored): 2 percent
- Scrap metal: 2 percent
- Waste paper: 2 percent
- Nothing, garbage separation does not annoy me: 56 percent
The older the respondents, the less annoyed they were: While the generation 60 + expressed their displeasure about waste separation only to 29 percent, it is 40 59 42 percent and even 58 percent in the age group 18 - 39 years for XNUMX to XNUMX year olds.
