SCHOOLS FOR EARTH
With the support of 18 pilot schools from seven federal states, Greenpeace has developed the “Schools for Earth” project, which invites all schools in Germany to take part and to work together on the path towards climate neutrality.
With the Whole School Approach, the project offers a holistic approach to developing one's own school with the aim of being climate neutral and firmly anchoring ambitious education for sustainable development (ESD).
At “Schools for Earth”, pupils can act as role models and show how serious, effective climate protection can be achieved in their own school. Together with their school family - teachers, students, school administrators, caretakers, cooks, parents and school administrators - they set out on the road to climate neutrality and thus prove that what the young generation, Scientists and the environmental movement demand!
