Last year in Germany almost 5 million tons of wheat ended up in troughs as animal feed or as fuel in cars - an immoral waste in the face of the climate and hunger crisis!
By labeling it “fodder wheat,” the agribusiness gives the impression that some types of wheat are unfit for human consumption. We prove the opposite and bake rescue bread - from so-called "fodder wheat" that we saved from the trough and tank. In the video we accompany the journey from grain to crusty bread.
We demand an end to food waste: Politicians must reject biofuel and no longer subsidize it. On the other hand, we have to reduce meat consumption and thus the number of animals so that less feed is required for them.
