A representative survey by the umbrella organization Renewable Energy Austria (EEÖ) and the climate change request came to the following results:

  • Two thirds of the population are dissatisfied with the current energy and climate policy
  • 78% of Austrians call for a quick energy turnaround
  • Over 80% want more support for renewable energies
  • More than 60% are in favor of an eco bonus combined with guiding prices for fossil energy
