Dear friends, dear supporters,
With a heavy heart and deep sadness, we say goodbye to Rupert Weber, our CEO, colleague and friend. Rupert died much too early on April 1st as a result of a serious illness.
Rupert worked tirelessly for those who were handicapped by fate, whose lives were marked by poverty and hunger. Humanity and justice were his main concerns, for which he was vehemently committed. We say thank you for that.
We also say thank you on behalf of over 400.000 people in our project areas Ginde Beret, Abune Ginde Beret, Jeldu and Chobi, who owe a better future to the tireless efforts of Rupert. This humanity, his sense of justice and his actions will continue to be our inspiration and incentive in the future.
In this, your sense, we will continue on the path of lived humanity together as people for people.

It is with a heavy heart and in deep mourning that we bid farewell to Rupert Weber, our Executive Chairman, colleague and friend. Rupert passed away much too early on April 1st after a serious illness.
Rupert Weber worked tirelessly for those who were disadvantaged by fate, whose lives were marked by poverty and hunger. Humanity and justice were his most important concerns, to which he was committed beyond example. For this we are exceedingly grateful.
We also want to express our gratefulness on behalf of over 400,000 people in our project areas Ginde Beret, Abune Ginde Beret, Jeldu and Chobi, who owe a better future to the tireless efforts of Rupert Weber. Rupert's benevolence, actions and his sense of justice will continue to be our inspiration and incentive in the future.
