In Greece, Greenpeace activists protested together with climbers from the Ioannina Climbing Club in Epirus. 80 meters above the famous Kokkori stone bridge on the Voidomatis River, they hung a banner with the inscription: "No Oil - It is not an investment if it destroys Epirus." The area is famous for its beauty and depends on tourism. In order for this and many other beautiful places in our world to remain protected, we need governments to make a clear commitment to the energy transition and to turn away from fossil fuels.
