Staying up to date with the latest German politics can sometimes be exhausting and take a lot of time. Anyone who, as it should be, orients themselves to several sources and questions every piece of information, can do this job as a full-time job - with video. There are brief but also clear written messages - so to speak, “politics for the disinterested”.
The first episode of the political interview program “Jung & Naiv” was released in 2013. A title that many can identify with. At Jung & Naiv there are different sections and main topics that are based on the Website , the Podcast, the Youtube channel or on theirs Facebook site be broadcast.
Tilo Jung, the inventor of the format, plays “an average unsuspecting person at the intelligent level of a 14-year-old” during the interviews (Mayroth, 2013). The interesting thing is that all forms of distance and formality are not adhered to - this means no foreign words , no "Siezen" with the interview partner. The interviews are recorded in full length and not shortened so that the conversation comes across naturally and honestly for the viewer. A refreshing alternative to report media that is helpful, transparent and above all understandable not only for young people.
