Julia Klöckner and the forest in Germany
No Description
Our forests are getting worse and worse. Julia Klöckner likes to blame the climate crisis and forgets that she is fueling the crisis through her forestry policy. It cannot be that taxpayers' money is used to promote reforestation with conifers - instead of creating sustainable, natural forests.
Conifers are particularly susceptible to pests, drought and fires, especially in monoculture. Deciduous forests can store more water, cool their surroundings better and offer a rich habitat for more plants and animals. The climate crisis is already here. We can no longer afford to go on as usual. We need a turn for our forests NOW.
Save our forests and now demand of the government:
➡️Saw out of endangered deciduous forests
➡️No afforestation with conifers
➡️ more protected areas!
