Katie Eder, 20, is the executive director of Future Coalition. Future Coalition was founded by youth activists for youth activists and is a network of youth organizations and youth organizers in the United States. As a key force in the youth climate movement, Future Coalition coordinates the U.S. Youth Climate Strike Coalition, the group that organizes national campaigns for U.S. climate strikes and coordinated historic climate strikes on September 20, 2019 that led nearly one million people in the U.S. and 4 million worldwide. Katie was recently named Forbes 30 Under 30 and currently needs two years to start at Stanford University in fall 2020.
Bii Gallardo is 18 years old and comes from the nations Apache, Yaqui, Chichimeca and Purepecha. She is the community organizer of the SoCal International Indigenous Youth Council and president of the Living Culture Intertribal Student Collective Club at Pasadena City College.
