About the guests:
Rhiana Gunn-Wright is the Director of Climate Policy at the Roosevelt Institute. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Gunn-Wright was the policy director for New Consensus, where she helped develop and promote the Green New Deal. A 2013 Rhodes Scholar, she previously served as political director for Abdul El-Sayed's 2018 gubernatorial campaign in Michigan and was a member of former First Lady Michelle Obama's political team. She graduated Magna cum Laude from Yale in 2011, majoring in African American Studies and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies.
Anthony K. Rogers-Wright was selected as one of the 50 Grist.org people you will be speaking about in 2016. He has over a decade of experience in policy analysis, community organizing, and public relations / advocacy. In 2016, he served as the substitute and policy advisor to Bernie Sanders' presidency and served as policy advisor to Senator Sanders, Governor Jay Inslee, and Senator Elizabeth Warren during the 2020 presidential election. He is currently the director of environmental justice for New York Public Interest Lawyers, a proud and active member of the New York Renews Coalition. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Friends of the Earth, the Backbone Campaign and the Center for Sustainable Economy, and the Advisory Board for Evergreen Action.
