The bad wolf pushes the prices and the three little pigs have to suffer. Many consumers want to know under what conditions the animals have lived. Lidl, Aldi and Rewe have already introduced a postage code for fresh meat. But Edeka lags behind. We demand from Edeka:
- Mark animal husbandry and origin on all meat products.
- Commit yourself to sell in the future only meat from animal friendly and environmentally friendly production.
- Develop an action plan for better production of all of our own fresh meat range - starting with pork.
