We defeat Covid-19 worldwide or not at all! An international rescue package is therefore needed to prevent humanitarian and economic disasters in countries like Ethiopia. The 2020 budget will bring a slight increase in funds for development cooperation and humanitarian aid - important and right. However, the budget was negotiated before the corona crisis and insufficiently takes into account the impact of the pandemic on countries like Ethiopia. Together with the AG Global Responsibility and its member organizations, we therefore advocate a Covid 19 rescue package with emergency aid of 100 million euros.
