The European Central Bank will allow banks to distribute profits to shareholders again from 2021. Bad decision!
Banks are currently making profits because they are massively funded by the public
Measures benefit. Distributing these profits to shareholders is a major redistribution drive to the richest - and it endangers the stability of the banking system. Because the crisis is not over yet.
We call on the ECB to reverse its decision!
