Alternative Search Engine Inquiries Are Still In The UK Only 1%

Most internet users stay with Google despite data protection problems. According to Stat counter Global StatsAccording to the UK market share in September 2019, 92% use Google, 4% use Bing, 1,6% Yahoo and 1% MSN.

Alternative provider DuckDuckGo does not track users to protect their privacy, but is only used for 0,6% of searches in the UK. Nevertheless, these numbers are increasing. DuckDuckGo speaks of 45,5 million searches per day in September 2019. In September 2018, the daily average was only 27,1 million.

EcosiaThose who plant trees for search queries also endeavor to improve the privacy of their users. So far, Ecosia has a market share of 0,3%.
