The EU is increasing pressure on companies to make products and services circular. Quality Austria responded to this in its course program for 2021. In the new seminar "Cradle to Cradle and ISO concepts for promoting the circular economy", the EU's circular economy package is the subject of discussion. It also sheds light on, among other things, how biological and technical cycles can be closed and what role “healthy” and safe materials play in this. Also new is the seminar “E-mobility for companies - fact check instead of fake news”.
The new course program for Quality Austria for 2021 has been set. Austria's leading provider of accredited training and personal certification offers a total of ten courses, series of courses, seminars and refreshings in the field of environment and energy. The seminar “Cradle to Cradle and ISO concepts for promoting the circular economy”, which was designed for managing directors and board members, employees in research and development and in product design, is completely new to the offer. Product managers, system managers, strategic buyers, marketing staff and the areas of finance and controlling should also be addressed.
Closing biological and technical cycles
“The circular economy is high on the EU agenda. This inevitably increases the pressure on the industry to stay up to date in the course of the transformation, ”explains Axel Dick, business developer for the environment, energy and CSR at Quality Austria. The main contents of the seminar include the EU's circular economy package, developments at ISO level and on the financial markets, closing biological and technical cycles, the Cradle to Cradle Certified Standard and how healthy and safe materials can act as levers. This triggers innovations on the level of products, services and business models. There are dates for the two-day seminar in Vienna (April 28-29, 2021) and Linz (November 3-4, 2021).
Legal basis for electric vehicles in operation
The seminar “E-mobility for companies - fact check instead of fake news” is also new in the program. The target group are managing directors, environmental officers and managers, energy officers and employees from purchasing and vehicle fleet management. Essential course contents include the legal basis for the use of electric vehicles in the company as well as international success models. There are dates for the one-day seminar in Vienna (May 6, 2021) and Linz (November 3, 2021).
Attractive funding
Quality Austria has an Ö-Cert recognition and thus fulfills an important basic requirement for funding in adult education. For example, under certain conditions, companies receive reimbursement of up to 50 percent of the educational expenses for their employees via the AMS. Ideally, up to 10.000 euros are possible per person and request. If the employees pay for the courses themselves, they can claim the expenses as income-related expenses via the employee tax assessment. There are also funding opportunities from the federal states. Flexibility is a priority
There are a total of twelve new seminars, courses and refreshings to discover in the 116-page program of Quality Austria's 2021 courses. There are also numerous updates. But that's only part of the new features. In addition to the face-to-face courses in Vienna, Linz, Graz, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Villach and Bregenz, many of these educational offers are now also offered as online seminars. In addition, the range of mixed forms of learning (blended learning) has been expanded and the tailor-made seminars for the individual needs of individual companies are enjoying increasing popularity.
