With Greenpeace climate campaigner Lisa Göldner, lawyer Dr. Roda Verheyen, climate plaintiff Sophie Backsen and energy and climate economist Prof. Dr. Claudia Kemfert discusses what the verdict means for climate policy.

Dr. Roda Verheyen is a lawyer specializing in environmental law and board member of the Green Legal Impact association. She has been working with Greenpeace for many years and made the climate action in Karlsruhe a success.

Sophie Backsen is one of the nine young plaintiffs: inside the climate suit. She lives on the North Sea island of Pellworm and experiences the effects of global warming up close.

Prof. Dr. Claudia Kemfert is an energy and climate economist. She heads the Department of Energy, Transport, Environment at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) and is Professor of Energy Economics and Energy Policy at Leuphana University Lüneburg. She has been a member of the Advisory Council for Environmental Issues since 2016.

Lisa Göldner is a campaigner for climate and energy at Greenpeace. She works on national and international climate policy. She is one of the campaigners who initiated and accompanied the climate action.
