Together with the photographer Kevin McElvaney we are on the trail of fast fashion in Tanzania and Kenya for two weeks and reveal everything that lies behind the beautiful glamor of the global fashion industry.
We collected a lot of impressions on site, met a lot of great people and researched how the second-hand trade is used as a cheap waste export for broken and overproduced textiles from the Global North. We recorded that in vlogs. The third episode is about the local people who downcycle, upcycle and recycle old clothes with creative ideas.
