Now it gets serious. With Hamburg, the first city in Germany issues driving bans for diesel - on two road sections. On 580 meters of the busy Max-Brauer-All, only diesel vehicles of the exhaust emission standard 6 are allowed to drive from today. Just around the corner, on the main traffic artery Stresemannstraße, 1,6 kilometers are closed for diesel trucks alone. This does not make Hamburg a health resort. The actual effect is different.
