The countdown to the federal election has started. One of the very hot candidates to succeed Angela Merkel is Olaf Scholz. If we were to elect our head of government directly, the post could hardly be taken from him. As an environmental politician, the former mayor of Hamburg and current federal finance minister has so far not attracted any attention. But that can change. We want to know how he wants to get Germany on course in terms of climate protection and the circular economy and ask about sustainable agricultural policy and how a future Federal Chancellor can implement the European Green Deal.
The next WWFthink is already in the starting blocks. On September 03.09.21rd, 90st everything will revolve around the energy supply in Germany and the question of how people and municipalities can benefit from the energy transition. We are discussing with Robert Habeck (Bündnis XNUMX / Die Grünen), Prof. Dr. Claudia Kemfert (DIW), Viviane Raddatz (WWF) and Christopher Holzem (spokesman for Bürgerwerke eG).
