World Clean Day 2019 on 21. September

CONTRIBUTION IN ORIGINAL LANGUAGE

Last year, World Cleanup Day counted over 17 million people in over 150 countries worldwide. The 36-hour green wave of cleanup around the world started in New Zealand and went around the world before it ended in Hawaii.

This year the organizers hope that the event on September 21 will be even bigger. The goal of these global efforts is to raise awareness of the everyday garbage that damages the planet. Volunteer organizations, private companies and individuals from across the UK come together to clean the country, from garbage and improper garbage from our beaches, rivers and forests to our streets.

Everyone can organize their own cleanup or participate in an already organized one. and everyone can choose what, where and how much.
